Guests stared in awe upon entering the magnificent ballroom for Sarah’s quinceinera Saturday night. The Marriott Harbor Beach resort playing host to the party, made the perfect location to host this beautiful evening.

The night began with yet another south Florida rain pouring down forcing the cocktail hour, prior to the party, to move in doors. While waiting anxiously for the evening to begin, guests were entertained with music and beverages. The Grand Ballroom was decorated with a Halloween feel as ripped clothes and flickering chandeliers hung from the roof. The spooky affect leading guests into a night they would never forget.

Sarah’s father, Richard, standing up to say a few words thanking guests just before his daughter’s grand entrance. Guests starred at the front doors as the grand entrance was announced. Sarah looking ravishing in her gown as she made her way into the room. She was more beautiful than anyone could have imagined. Two dances bliss and Blaze, escorting her as she was greeted by applause from guests.
The traditional quince kicking off with the “Gururra” or changing of the shoes. The Gururra is one of the most popular Quince traditions and symbolizes the young girl transforming into a women as her father replaces her flat shoe with a heel. Following the changing of the shoes Sarah and her father made their way to the center of the dance floor to take part in their father-daughter dance. Guests enjoying a video montage during this special moment while listening to music by the temptations.

During the evening guests were able to eat as they please from a delicious two-sided buffet. Adults were also able to take a break and rest their feet in a full service lounge set up in the ballroom. A candle lighting ceremony also taking place during the party to honor Sarah’s mother’s presence at her daughters special night. The evening was sprinkled with Mexican flare to represent her mother’s heritage and bring a part of her back to life for one night.

A very special speech was given by Sarah’s best friend Sammy just before Bliss brought out the birthday cake. The cake, magnificently decorated, was made up entirely of cupcakes with candles on top making a 1 and a 5 for Sarah’s fithteenth birthday. MB entertainment DJ Mike playing the traditional Mexican happy birthday song as guests sang to Sarah before enjoying the delicious desert. The evening taking off as Sarah and her guests danced the night away.
