Penthouse Ocean View Wedding at Ocean Manor Ft. Lauderdale

Spectacular tropical views greeted guests as they arrived at the beautiful beach side Ocean Manor Resort in Ft. Lauderdale Friday. Upon entering the hotel guests were escorted to the eleventh floor penthouse for the ceremony. Exquisite floral decorations covering the room leading the way to the beautifully decorated alter. Erin and Reid could not have envisioned a more perfect setting for their ceremony to take place.

Upon MB Entertainments arrival, Mike was greeted with an unexpected surprise: a noise ordinance no one had been informed of. This slight set back was overcome and although speakers were heard at low volumes the ceremony went off went out a hitch! Following the ceremony guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the penthouse while MB Entertainment and Ocean Manor set up by the pool for the reception.

Prelude Music Style: “18th Floor Balcony” by Blue October

Parents Entrance Song: “Mamma’s Song” by Carrie Underwood

Ring Exchange Song: “A New Day has Come” by Celine Dion

Recessional Song: “Can’t get Enough of your Love” by Barry White

The noise ordinance becoming a slight larger problem during the reception. MB Entertainment was told to only set up one speaker, which was barely heard by the white noise coming from the pool side speakers to block sound to surrounding buildings. Our Amazing Wedding DJ Mike using the ordinance to their advantage setting the mood with a lighter tone to the music. Erin and Reid had also hired Bobby Vegas of MB Entertainment to sing classical melodies during the reception that were barely heard as the noise level was to be kept almost to a whisper.

The low music was unable to stop this crowd from having a blast. The reception began and the wedding party was introduced. Guests stood to greet the newlyweds following the wedding party and parents entrance. The celebration kicking off with the first dance followed by the father daughter and mother son dances.

Wedding Party Introduction: “Sing Sing Sing” by Benny Goodman

Bride & Groom Entrance: “We Found Love” by Rihanna

First Dance Song: “I Won’t let go” by Rascal Flatts

Father/Daughter Dance: “Simple Man” by Lynard Skynyrd

Mother/Son Dance: “A Song for Mama” by Boyz II Men

Guests enjoyed a buffet style dinner following the entrance and dances. Reid’s brother and best man gave a wonderful toast to the new couple wishing them all the happiness in the world. Bobby Vegas, the wedding singer, preceded to sing during the dinner catching the eyes of all the women in the room while he used his voice to lighten the mood of the night. The cake cutting took place after dinner and guests took the dance floor for the remainder of the evening. The rocking party continuing even after the last dance as guests made their way to the hotels bar “Tokyo Blue” to continue the celebration.

Cake Cutting Song: “Pour Some Sugar on Me”

Last Songs of the Night: “All Night Long” by Lionel RIchie; “2011 Remix” featuring Guy Sebastian; “Always be my Baby” by David Cook

The Amazing night could not have been made possible with out the help of the Ocean Manor staff and MB Entertainment working to over come the noise ordinance as well as Bobby Vegas for gracing guests with his wonderful voice during dinner. A very special congratulations to the Bride and Groom! Wishing them a lifetime of happiness and love.

An Italian Style wedding at Benvenuto in Boynton Beach

An elegant european exterior, lush landscaping, and beautiful outdoor courtyard awed guests as they approached the Benvenuto Restaurant. The classic style of this venue is what grabbed the attention of Kristy and Mike making it the perfect location for their wedding reception.

The Ceremony took place at a nearby church prior to our arrival at the Benvenuto. This was a particularly special occasion for MB Entertainment as we had the chance to also provide our services to the couple during their engagement party earlier in the year. The reception played host to over 100 guests who were entertained by a cocktail hour in the courtyard and lobby while awaiting the arrival of the bride and groom. Guests enjoyed classical Mob hits during the cocktail hour including songs from Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Jimmy Roselli.

((pictures of those areas)))

The reception began once the wedding party arrived and introductions were made. The Wedding party was introduced as LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem filled the room. Guests watched as the wedding party proceeded to form a bridge, locking hands, creating a pathway for the newly weds to run under. The introduction of Mr. and Mrs. Micheal Paige then took place and the couple ran under the bridge as “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey played. The happy couple making their way to the dance floor for their first dance following their introduction. Love filled their air as guests watched a fairly tale unfold as the Mike and Kristy seemed to be in their own world starring into each others eyes.

Grand Entrance: “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO

Couple Entrance: “Dont Stop Believing” by Journey

First Dance: “When You Got a Good Thing” by Lady Antebellum

Rosanne, the brides mother, began the toasts following the first dance. The matron of honor and the maid of honor also gave toasts wishing the couple only love and happiness in the future together. An exquisite dinner followed as the staff of the Benvenuto presented guests an array of appetizers and main dishes. The bride and her father made their way to the dance floor following the start of dinner dancing to “I loved her first” by Heartland. The Mother/son dance took place nest as guests watched Mike and his mom danced to “Wind beneath my wings” by Bette Midler. Once the dances ended guests joined the couple on the dance floor and the party really began! It was obvious that MB Entertainment was a hit as guests were seen on the dance floor from dinner to the very last song of the night! During the evening the bride had an anniversary dance played for all married couples in attendance where she gave her bouquet to the couple who had been together the longest. We even had a special request for a birthday tune as guests informed us it was the brides grandmother Teresa’s Birthday! While the reception was a blast the evening had to come to an end. Before the closing song the bride and groom enjoyed one last dance together on their special night.

Bride/Father Song: “I love her First” by Heartland

Groom/ Mother Song: “Wind Beneath my Wings” by Bette Midler

Last Dance: “Faithfully” by Journey

THis memorable evening could not have been made possible without the amazing staff at the Benvenuto and Desiree the couples wonderful wedding planner! We look forward to working with them in the future! MB Entertainment Congratulates Mike and Kristy and wishes them all the best in their future!

A Rainy Day Wedding in Key Largo

A rainy October day turning into an absolutely beautiful and memorable wedding at the Key Largo Bayside Marriott. Unexpected rain taking the wedding in a new direction becoming more amazing than imagined! Upon our arrival we were greeted with a massive down pour drenching the chairs lining the way to the alter. The ceremony, originally set to take place on the beach, was moved to a covered area on the first floor of the hotel. Kathy Knowles and the Marriott staff worked diligently to rearrange the ceremony while wedding guests enjoyed a pre-ceremony cocktail hour. The heavy rain was unable to bring down the happy couple of this wonderful day. Mr. and Mrs. Murphy remembering that rain is often associated with romance and is said that the more rain the longer the marriage will last!

The rain was unable to stop this wedding from taking place and the officiant, who happened to be a good friend of the groom, performed the ceremony without a hitch!

Ceremony Selections Included: (All songs were instrumental)

Prelude music: “Cant Help Falling in Love”

Seating of the mothers: “Ave Maria”

Bridesmaids Entrance: “Canon in D”

Jenny’s Processional: “Over the Rainbow”

Recessional: “Wedding March”

After the ceremony, wedding guests moved to the “Upper Gus” in the hotel for a cocktail hour prior to the reception.  Cocktail highlights included Calypso Reggae Island Music.  Introductions of the wedding party and our guests of honor immediately followed the cocktail hour.

Introduction Music Included:

Wedding party: “Say Hey” by Michael Franti

Newlyweds: “Burning Love” by Elvis Presley

The couple proceeded to the dance floor upon entrance to the reception taking part in their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Brian Murphy.  Kenny Rogers “You Decorated my Life” played as the newlyweds lit up the dance floor. As the first dance came to an end, the bride’s father took the dance floor stealing his daughter away for a dance to “My Girl” by the Temptations. The groom’s mother also met her son on the dance floor as “Have I Told You Lately” by Rod Stewart filled the ears of guests.

During the dinner, light romantic music filled the room setting the scene for a wonderful evening. As guests enjoyed a delicious surf-and-turf dinner the Toasting of the Bride and Groom began. The groom’s best man, his son, was too young to speak so friends of the groom stepped up giving the first of the toasts followed by the maid of honor, and a few bridesmaids. The beautiful wedding cake was then brought out and joined by the bride and the groom. “Forever and For Always” by Shania Twain filled the room as the bride and groom cut the first slice.

The rain became only a mere memory as guests enjoyed the out of this world evening. The groom appearing as the Mission Impossible theme song filled the air as he proceeded to remove the brides garter tossing it into the air while “Just a Gigolo” by David Lee Roth played. Female wedding guests enjoying the setting became ecstatic after hearing “All my Single Ladies” by Beyonce take over the room just before the bride tossed her bouquet to the crowd. MB entertainment continuing to rock the house as the bride extended the reception an extra hour! Big hits of the night included “Moves Like Jagger,” “The Time” by the Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera and the favorite of the grooms father “California Love.”

Closing Song: “Con Te Partiro” by Andrea Bocelli

The rainy wedding turning into a beautiful night that would never be forgotten. A big congratulations going out to our newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Brian Murphy. A very special thank you to Kathy Knowles and her staff at the Key Largo Bayside Marriott. The wonderful wedding would not have been possible without all of their help and support.
