Penthouse Ocean View Wedding at Ocean Manor Ft. Lauderdale

Spectacular tropical views greeted guests as they arrived at the beautiful beach side Ocean Manor Resort in Ft. Lauderdale Friday. Upon entering the hotel guests were escorted to the eleventh floor penthouse for the ceremony. Exquisite floral decorations covering the room leading the way to the beautifully decorated alter. Erin and Reid could not have envisioned a more perfect setting for their ceremony to take place.

Upon MB Entertainments arrival, Mike was greeted with an unexpected surprise: a noise ordinance no one had been informed of. This slight set back was overcome and although speakers were heard at low volumes the ceremony went off went out a hitch! Following the ceremony guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the penthouse while MB Entertainment and Ocean Manor set up by the pool for the reception.

The noise ordinance becoming a slight larger problem during the reception. MB Entertainment was told to only set up one speaker, which was barely heard by the white noise coming from the pool side speakers to block sound to surrounding buildings. Our Amazing Wedding DJ Mike using the ordinance to their advantage setting the mood with a lighter tone to the music. Erin and Reid had also hired Bobby Vegas of MB Entertainment to sing classical melodies during the reception that were barely heard as the noise level was to be kept almost to a whisper.

The low music was unable to stop this crowd from having a blast. The reception began and the wedding party was introduced. Guests stood to greet the newlyweds following the wedding party and parents entrance. The celebration kicking off with the first dance followed by the father daughter and mother son dances.

Bobby Vegas, the wedding singer, preceded to sing during the dinner catching the eyes of all the women in the room while he used his voice to lighten the mood of the night. The cake cutting took place after dinner and guests took the dance floor for the remainder of the evening. The rocking party continuing even after the last dance as guests made their way to the hotels bar “Tokyo Blue” to continue the celebration.

An Italian Style wedding at Benvenuto in Boynton Beach

An elegant european exterior, lush landscaping, and beautiful outdoor courtyard awed guests as they approached the Benvenuto Restaurant. The classic style of this venue is what grabbed the attention of Kristy and Mike making it the perfect location for their wedding reception.

The Ceremony took place at a nearby church prior to our arrival at the Benvenuto. This was a particularly special occasion for MB Entertainment as we had the chance to also provide our services to the couple during their engagement party earlier in the year. The reception played host to over 100 guests who were entertained by a cocktail hour in the courtyard and lobby while awaiting the arrival of the bride and groom. Guests enjoyed classical Mob hits during the cocktail hour including songs from Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, and Jimmy Roselli.

The reception began once the wedding party arrived and introductions were made. The Wedding party was introduced as LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem filled the room. Guests watched as the wedding party proceeded to form a bridge, locking hands, creating a pathway for the newly weds to run under. The introduction of Mr. and Mrs. Micheal Paige then took place and the couple ran under the bridge as “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey played. The happy couple making their way to the dance floor for their first dance following their introduction. Love filled their air as guests watched a fairly tale unfold as the Mike and Kristy seemed to be in their own world starring into each others eyes.

Rosanne, the brides mother, began the toasts following the first dance. The matron of honor and the maid of honor also gave toasts wishing the couple only love and happiness in the future together. An exquisite dinner followed as the staff of the Benvenuto presented guests an array of appetizers and main dishes. The bride and her father made their way to the dance floor following the start of dinner dancing to “I loved her first” by Heartland. The Mother/son dance took place nest as guests watched Mike and his mom danced to “Wind beneath my wings” by Bette Midler. Once the dances ended guests joined the couple on the dance floor and the party really began! It was obvious that MB Entertainment was a hit as guests were seen on the dance floor from dinner to the very last song of the night! During the evening the bride had an anniversary dance played for all married couples in attendance where she gave her bouquet to the couple who had been together the longest. We even had a special request for a birthday tune as guests informed us it was the brides grandmother Teresa’s Birthday! While the reception was a blast the evening had to come to an end. Before the closing song the bride and groom enjoyed one last dance together on their special night.

Ft. Lauderdale Pelican Beach Resort Lobby Wedding

The rainy season once again attempting ruin a perfectly planned outdoor wedding. Meredith and Ken were to be married roof top at the Pelican Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale. Rain, however, had other plans for their special day. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with heavy rain and winds clearing marking the way for an indoor wedding. To our surprise, we were asked to set up in a tent located outside towards the back of the hotel. As we finished setting up heavy winds blew down our front board along with breaking numerous vases and destroying decorations. The staff at the Pelican Beach Resort making the final decision that the wedding ceremony and reception would be moved inside to the hotel lobby.

The ceremony setting was not what the Meredith had envisioned but turned into a beautiful scene. The ceremony was finally ready to begin as instrumental music began playing throughout the lobby. Ken, the groom, was the first to walk down the aisle followed by Meredith, who was escorted by both of her parents. As bride walked down the aisle her and parents preceded under a beautiful chuppa made of tulle and bamboo. In traditional Jewish weddings the chuppa represents the new home that the couple will create together. Once both the bride and groom reached the alter, Rabbi Kaplan performed the ceremony beautifully. As the ceremony came to an end, the couple made their way back up the aisle and guests made their way to a cocktail hour prior to the reception.

Groom’s Entrance: “Marry Me” – Instrumental version

Brides Entrance: “By Your Side” – Instrumental version

Recessional: “Marry Me” by Train – Acoustic version

Cocktail Hour Music: Variety of instrumental tracks (no vocals)

The reception began without the typical introductions of the newly weds and bridal party. Ken and Meredith were the first in the reception room and greeted guests as the entered and took their seats. Once guests were seated the couple took the dance floor for their first dance as “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts played. Dinner immediately followed the first dance. Music selections during dinner including a variety of slow songs such as selections by Sade and “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele.  The party began as guests finished their meals and MB Entertainment began to rock out the room! Big hits throughout the night including “Moves Like Jagger”, selections from Bruno Mars, and Black Eyed Peas.

This wonderful evening could not have been made possible without the help of Chaz and the Pelican Beach Resort Staff. Another thank you to Mike from MB Entertainment for making this event memorable jamming out to major hits all night! All the best to the new couple! May the hours of rain bring year and years of happiness to you!
